New Life BJJ Academy serves the Forney, TX community with martial arts instruction, tracing its roots to when it was Founded in 1999 in Kohala on The Big Island of Hawaii. Prospective students can connect through the academy website to request a Free Introductory Lesson. Instruction is headed by Professor Kahana Cordeiro, a 3rd Degree Black Belt who earned his Black Belt in 2013 under the guidance of Robson Moura. Professor Kahana was recognized as RMNU Teacher of the Year by Professor Robson, and brings over 20 years of experience working with youth. The academy provides a Kids Program for Kids 5-13, as well as an Adult Program for Adults 14 & Up. Training options also include the Kohala BJJ Program and dedicated Mentorship opportunities, delivering instruction in a family oriented environment.
