Northwest Martial Arts

Northwest Martial Arts Academy is located at 755 Charnelton Street, Eugene, OR 97401. Serving as an original Brazilian Jiu Jitsu studio since 1995, the facility provides martial arts training for the Eugene community. The school is owned and operated by Professor Harold Utterback, who serves as Owner and HEAD INSTRUCTOR and is a two-stripe Black Belt under Wellington “Megaton” Dias. The coaching roster also includes Professor Tyler Pascua, who received his BJJ black belt in 2018, and Coach Natalie Whitson, who has earned a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Program options include Adult (ages 14+) Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Adult Kickboxing/Muay Thai, and Women’s Self-Defense. Youth programs feature Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes for ages 6-13, organized into Raccoons for ages 6-9 and Foxes for ages 10-14, alongside open mat sessions.
