NXG Combat Sports & Martial Arts

NXG Combat Sports & Martial Arts operates at 4315 Atlanta Highway in Montgomery, Alabama. The training academy provides instruction across adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, mixed martial arts, and youth martial arts programs. Serving students from Montgomery and surrounding communities, the facility also offers homeschool Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes and early bird morning training sessions. Head coach Michael Bateman brings more than 20 years of coaching experience and 40 years of martial arts training to the academy. He is a 1st Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under John Ouano, a 6th Degree Black Belt under Korea Taekwondo Oh Do Kwan, and a recognized Senior Combatives Instructor by the USAF. The instructional staff includes program manager Lindsey Bateman, youth program lead instructor Coach Jeremy, striking assistant coach Adam, and Coach Ben, who earned a black belt under John Ouano. Students participate in structured striking and grappling classes designed to build physical conditioning, self-defense abilities, and discipline. The academy features an MMA Fight Team that blends striking, grappling, and conditioning into a unified training system.
