NY Martial Arts Academy Long Island operates at 214 Glen Cove Ave in Glen Cove, New York. Founded in 1985 as the first school in the tri-state area dedicated to Bruce Lee art of Jeet Kune Do, the institution serves Long Island martial arts students. Training programs include Jeet Kune Do, kickboxing, grappling, and women self-defense. Head instructor Dino Orfanos is a lifelong martial artist with over 40 years of experience who earned certification under Ted Wong and Chris Kent before opening the academy in 1985. The Glen Cove location is managed by director Teddy Holevas, who has taught at NYMAA since 2018, supported by veteran instructors Carlos Irizarry and Alfonso Velazquez.
