Ohana Jiu Jitsu Academy

Ohana Jiu Jitsu Academy operates at The Altitude Deck, located on the rooftop of Kihei Charter School at 650 Lipoa Pkwy. in Kihei, Maui. Training is conducted on an open-air rooftop facility. Prospective practitioners and visiting martial artists can register for classes or attend sessions directly at the Kihei venue. Rodrigo Fanti serves as head adult and kids instructor. Born in Brazil, he has trained in Jiu Jitsu and Judo throughout his life, holding the rank of 3rd degree black belt under Ari Galo, Carlson Gracie, and Hal Faulkener. Fanti has taught Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 16 years and leads academy instruction as part of the official Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Team. Class programs feature Children’s Gi sessions meeting on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by Adults Gi from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Sunday Open Mat in Gi and No-Gi takes place from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Monthly tuition is for kids classes and for adult classes, with a non-member drop-in fee of .
