Ohana Mixed Martial Arts

Ohana Mixed Martial Arts is a martial arts school based at 11354 White Rock Road in Rancho Cordova, California. Founded and led by owner Jonathan Calizar, a sixth-degree black belt known as Kwan Jon, the academy delivers combat sports training centered on personal perseverance and community service. The instructional staff includes Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coaches Professor Albert Pulido, Professor Ilan Ghitman, and Coach Dorothy Le. Training covers striking, closing the distance, and ground fighting, with students advancing through structured belt ranks in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as Tae Kwon Do. Programs are organized across dedicated age brackets including kids ages 4 to 7, youth ages 8 to 12, and teens and adults. The academy also fields the Ohana Fight Team for grappling and youth Pankration tournaments, holding weekday group classes Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
