Ohio Academy of Jiu Jitsu

Ohio Academy of Jiu Jitsu is located at 793 Hebron Road; Heath, OH 43056. Members can contact the academy by calling 740-880-8217. Operating hours run Mon – Fri 9:00am – 8:00pm, with weekend hours scheduled Sat/Sun 9:00am - 12:00pm. Instruction is led by owner and head instructor Derek Myers, with the academy operating as an affiliate school of Black Belt Jason Matherley under the Team Shawn Hammonds association. Programs include Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Integrated Combat Systems blending boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA, and Women's Only classes. Youth training features SafeSport Certified instructors across Three separate programs divided by age group and experience for more focused instruction. The academy participates as an approved Adopt-A-Cop facility providing training support for police officers. New participants can begin training with a Free 7-Day Pass.
