Oregon Grappling Arts provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission wrestling instruction at 2627 NE Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard in Portland, Oregon. The facility delivers structured grappling education with separate curricula for recreational martial artists, youth students, and active tournament competitors. The academy is co-owned and led by co-head instructor Hannah Sharp, a first-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who won gold at the 2018 IBJJF No-Gi World Championship at brown belt and captured the 2021 IBJJF No-Gi American National Championship at black belt. Coaching is supported by instructor Eddie Jamrog and assistant instructor Courtney Block, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt. Instructional options include adult all-levels gi and no-gi classes, fundamentals sessions, intermediate training, and Sunday women's all-levels no-gi grappling. Youth instruction is divided into age cohorts for ages 3 to 4, ages 5 to 8, and ages 9 and older. Prospective practitioners can take advantage of a complimentary three-day trial membership.
