Park City Jiu Jitsu

Park City Jiu Jitsu operates at 6430 North Business Park Loop Rd, Unit D in Park City, Utah. Established in 2010 as the first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu facility in the Park City area, the academy traces its lineage from Helio Gracie through Pedro Sauer. The school was founded by Mike Diaz, a fifth-degree black belt under Pedro Sauer who brings nearly 30 years of martial arts experience to the mats. Coach Diaz incorporates functional movement principles alongside traditional Gracie technique. Instruction is supported by black belts Nick Howlett and Raphael Tapioca. Training covers core positional control, guard passes, joint locks, and situational sparring rounds. The academy provides structured classes for students of all experience levels. Youth instruction features Intro to Jiu Jitsu (Ages 6-8 yr), Beginning Kids, and Intermediate/Advanced Kids sessions. Adult students participate in all-levels Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, positional drilling, and open mat training.
