Performance Combat MMA

Performance Combat MMA provides martial arts education and combat athletics at 220 N Colony Rd in Wallingford, Connecticut. Located in downtown Wallingford, the facility conducts group instruction six days a week for adult and youth practitioners from surrounding communities including Meriden, Cheshire, and Southington. The academy is owned and directed by Coach Mike, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Master Ricardo Cavalcanti. Coach Mike brings 26 years of martial arts experience to the mats, including nearly two decades of BJJ training, a black belt in karate, and background in Muay Thai, Russian Sambo, wrestling, boxing, and judo. He oversees instruction alongside a competitive team of fighters and student athletes. Coursework includes adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, boxing, mixed martial arts, and youth martial arts. Classes emphasize technique execution, positional control, and conditioning, supported by a 30-day free trial offer.
