Peterson Grapplers is located at 25583 Avenue Stanford in Valencia, California. Established on October 1, 2015, the training facility delivers instruction across Brazilian jiu-jitsu, mixed martial arts, wrestling, and kickboxing disciplines. Head coach Brian Peterson earned his Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt in 2008 and represented the Fila Grappling U.S. world teams in 2008 and 2009. A four-time world medalist, Peterson captured world championship gold in the gi division in 2009 and has coached and cornered multiple UFC veterans. Striking instruction is complemented by veteran kickboxing champion Peter Sugarfoot Cunningham. The academy pairs daily on-mat training with extensive digital educational resources through Peterson's YouTube instructional channel, Teach Me Grappling. Programs serve youth, amateur grapplers, and adult practitioners pursuing combat sports and physical conditioning.
