Pinnacle University BJJ is located at 340 Wright Rd Suite G in Norwalk, Iowa. Founded in 2010, the school serves as a martial arts training center home to both Pinnacle Jiu Jitsu and the Pinnacle Wrestling Club. The academy is owned and directed by Professor Aaron Martinez, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt whose lineage traces through Carlson Gracie Sr. Martinez is also certified as a Level 4 Army Combatives Master Trainer and S.P.E.A.R. Instructor. He is joined by brown belt coach Tanner in delivering grappling instruction. Instructional programs include youth jiu-jitsu for ages 5 to 12, youth and teen wrestling, and adult Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The facility also features seasonal wrestling programs covering freestyle and Greco-Roman techniques, as well as the Veteran Evolve Program supporting local military veterans and first responders.
