Praxis Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Praxis Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is located at 506 2nd Ave W in Seattle, WA 98119, serving students in Uptown and Lower Queen Anne near downtown Seattle. Academy inquiries and scheduling can be arranged by calling (360) 329-2289. New students can sign up to join a free class to begin training. Established in 2012, the facility operates as a family oriented training center with classes for brand-new beginners, experienced practitioners, and competitors. Operating hours run Monday through Friday from 6:30am–9pm and Saturday from 10am-1pm. Out of town visitors who are active members of home academies can also reserve training spots. The curriculum features Adult Jiu Jitsu classes and Kids Jiu Jitsu classes designed for ages 3.5 years old and up. Training includes introductory classes scaled to the beginner level in pace and pressure, covering basic positions, partner training, and practical self defense. The academy also maintains a scholarship program for youth participants.
