Prime Martial Arts

Prime Martial Arts delivers martial arts and personal self-defense instruction at 776 Kailua Road in Kailua, Hawaii. The academy offers structured programs spanning traditional striking, technical weapons systems, and combat conditioning for youth and adult practitioners. Instruction is overseen by head teachers including KukSahNim Samuel K. Bishaw Jr., alongside instructor Sabumnim Lucca Blood, a second dan black belt in ITF Taekwondo. Striking classes are coached by Kevin Grace, a Muay Thai practitioner with over 30 years of experience and 15 professional bouts who trained at Phuket Top Team and Tiger Muay-Thai. Eskrima self-defense is instructed by Colo Taskowitz, who holds a master's degree in sports science, a black belt in Jeet Kune Do under Dan Anderson, and apprentice instructor credentials through the Inosanto International Martial Arts Instructor Association. Curriculum offerings include ITF Taekwondo, Dutch kickboxing and Muay Thai, Xtreme Martial Arts, Eskrima stick fighting, after-school enrichment, and homeschool fundamentals. New participants can start with a one-month introductory training package.
