Profectus Jiu-Jitsu Nashville is located at 69 Lindsley Ave in Nashville, TN 37210 near Rolling Mill Hill, situated minutes from The Gulch, Wedgewood-Houston, and downtown Nashville. The school was established by Jeremy Akin, who serves as Founder and has been coaching Jiu-Jitsu full-time since 2006. Professor Jeremy is a 4th Degree Black Belt who trained under Master Luiz Palhares, an 8th Degree Red & White Belt under Rickson Gracie, becoming the first American to go from white belt to black belt under Master Luiz. Training options include gi and no-gi Jiu-Jitsu, with a dedicated Foundations program designed for complete beginners. The academy also hosts a dedicated women’s class on Thursdays at 7pm, and new students can attend a free first class.
