Situated at 12851 West Bell Road, Suite 102 in Surprise, Arizona, Proving Ground MMA houses Vargas Jiu Jitsu and provides martial arts training for children and adults. The facility offers structured combat sports education spanning traditional grappling and modern striking. Instruction is directed by Coach Ruben Vargas, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who has been an active figure in the jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts community since 2005. Coaching staff members also include Master Ronnie, delivering technical coaching with an emphasis on mutual respect, patience, and student safety. The academy schedule features beginner Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals, advanced competition training, kids martial arts, and adult striking classes.
