Python Jiu-Jitsu Academy is located at 42900 Jackson Street in Indio, California. Led by Professor Ernest, the academy provides Gracie style martial arts training centered on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu principles, athletic development, and defensive grappling systems for area students. The curriculum is divided into two distinct training tracks: Sport Jiu-Jitsu and Combat Jiu-Jitsu. The sport program focuses on points, positions, ruleset mechanics, and conditioning for tournament competition, while the combat program emphasizes practical self-defense, real-world readiness, and situational response tactics. Training sessions feature early morning open classes alongside evening adult no-gi sport jiu-jitsu instruction throughout the weekly schedule. In addition to grappling arts, the academy offers specialized instruction in combatives and Libre Knife Fighting under law enforcement certified leadership for adult martial arts students.
