Quiet Storm Jujitsu operates at 1059 Nick Davis Rd. in Harvest, AL 35749, serving martial arts students across Madison, Harvest, and Huntsville Alabama. Instruction is directed by Professor Joe Medlen, who holds the rank of Hachidan (8 th Degree) Black Belt Kyoshi Dai in Shin Shin Jujitsu and Shichidan (7 th Degree) Black Belt Kyoshi Dai in Shin Nagare Karate. The instructional staff also features Hanshi Kevin Swanner, Godan Elizabeth Petersen, and Yondan Howard Staggs. Course disciplines include Shin Shin Jujitsu, Shin Nagare Karate, and Shinkendo. The weekly schedule provides Shin Shin Jujitsu w/ Karate on Monday and Wednesday from 6:00-8:30 pm. On Tuesday and Thursday, students can attend Shinkendo from 6:00 - 7:00pm, Karate from 7:00 - 8:00 pm, and Advanced Karate from 8:00 - 8:30pm, followed by a Saturday Open Workout from 9:30 - 11:00 am.
