Rebellion Jiu-Jitsu

Rebellion Jiu-Jitsu delivers technical grappling instruction and athletic conditioning at 431 SW 152nd St in Burien, Washington. The family-operated academy conducts daily martial arts and fitness classes for practitioners across Burien and King County. The school was established by co-owners Jaime Filer and Zach Filer. Head coach Jaime Filer is a 3rd-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under James Foster, an IBJJF competitor, and a WA State CJTC defensive tactics and UOF instructor. Head strength and cross-training coach Zach Filer is a BJJ purple belt and kettlebell coach. The coaching roster also features black belts Michelle Biga, Lamont Nelson, Luis Sanchez, Marlon Branson, Brandon Ness, and women's jiu-jitsu coach Brit Harvey. The 6,000-square-foot air-conditioned facility features custom mats with angled pit walls and a strength training area. Coursework includes adult gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, women's jiu-jitsu, cross-training, and youth programs for children starting at age 3. Prospective students can register for a complimentary trial.
