Red Hawk Academy ( MMA & Jiu Jitsu School)

Located at 9850 W Peoria Ave in Peoria, Arizona, Red Hawk Academy occupies a 12,000-square-foot combat sports and conditioning facility in the Phoenix West Valley. The academy provides training across mixed martial arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and striking disciplines. The academy was founded by owner and head coach Tim Welch, who began wrestling in 2004 and earned his black belt in 2018 under world champion Augusto "Tanquinho" Mendes. The coaching staff features UFC fighters and veterans including Drakkar Klose, Adam Fugitt, Joe Riggs, and Cortney Casey, alongside youth coaches Jameea Gunn and Ryan Elgarico Jr. Class options encompass youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, adult gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu, wrestling, and mixed martial arts striking. Every membership includes full access to the training mats and gym weight room, with free trial classes available for newcomers across all experience levels.
