Rising Tide Jiu Jitsu

Rising Tide Jiu Jitsu operates at 15 W University Ave in downtown Gainesville, Florida. The training facility is equipped with Fuji mats, private bathrooms, and member changing rooms. Owner and head instructor Zach Taylor is a black belt under Josh and Angie Vogel from The Jiu Jitsu Company in Philadelphia. Coach Erin Buchanan brings ten years of training experience and teaches the Tuesday evening advanced gi class. Buchanan is an active competitor who has earned multiple gold medals across IBJJF competitions. Class offerings include fundamentals for beginning practitioners, advanced continuing education sessions, and Saturday all-levels classes. Training encompasses both traditional gi practice with collar grips and modern no-gi grappling in rashguards.
