RMA Jiu Jitsu Academy

RMA Jiu Jitsu Academy is located at 7180 Nolensville Road, Suite 2F, in Nolensville, Tennessee, with a sister academy situated in Franklin. The training facility provides two mat areas with natural light and a lounge space, delivering technical grappling instruction in gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu, no-gi submission wrestling, and martial arts cross-training. Mat instruction is overseen by Professor Marcelo, who emphasizes mechanical breakdown of positions and control tactics without relying on striking. Training develops positional control, guard passes, submission defense, and competition strategy across beginner classes through the highest CAP technical curriculum. Youth practitioners participate through age-segmented divisions, starting with Mighty Mites and progressing through Pee Wees, Juniors, and Teens. Adult training includes beginner fundamentals, advanced gi sessions, no-gi wrestling, and tournament team preparation.
