Romulo Melo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is located at 1313 Mason Street in San Francisco, California. The academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction for practitioners of all ages, from beginning martial artists to seasoned tournament competitors. Chief instructor Romulo Melo was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and trained directly under Vinicius Aieta and Royler Gracie before relocating to California as an instructor under Charles Gracie. Melo's tournament achievements include capturing first place at the 2021 American National Championship as well as medal finishes at the American National No-Gi Championship. The school offers group training sessions alongside private instruction options tailored for students with demanding schedules or specific competition preparation goals. Corporate self-defense seminars and class streaming are also offered by the academy.
