Rubicon Jiu Jitsu & Self Defense provides martial arts instruction at 5954 Coca Cola Blvd in Columbus, GA 31909. General facility hours run from 9AM to 8PM on weekdays, Saturday from 10:30AM to 1PM, and Sunday from 11AM to 1PM. New practitioners can begin training by registering to book a free intro-class with no contracts. The academy is directed by owner and head professor Joshua Bowlin, a third-degree black belt who leads instruction on the mats. The coaching staff features first-degree black belt Chris Pratt, second-degree black belt Joshua Alsup, wrestling instructor Professor Ed, coach Kenneth Franco, and coach Lauren Schacht. Instructional programs feature Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for Adults, Martial Arts Kids & Teens, and Self Defense Training. Students can participate in group classes or schedule private lessons for individuals and small groups. Group workouts develop physical fitness, discipline, and practical defense skills for students across Columbus.
