Salem-Keizer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy

Salem-Keizer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy provides martial arts instruction at 2345 McGilchrist St SE Suite 1 in Salem, Oregon 97302. The academy teaches students from Salem, Keizer, Turner, Stayton, Silverton, Albany, and surrounding communities. The academy is led by head instructor and founder Professor James Puopolo, a 4th Degree Black Belt under Rafael Lovato Jr. James Puopolo began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in January of 2005 and earned his black belt in October of 2011, later earning a Judo black belt in 2020. He competed at the 2013 No-Gi World Championships and leads classes alongside a team of instructors. Class offerings feature Youth Jiu Jitsu for youth ages 6+ alongside Adult Jiu Jitsu and After School options. Introductory trial programs include a trial special providing 4 Kids Jiu-Jitsu classes and a uniform for $ 49. Adults can enroll in a 4 weeks of classes and a uniform for trial offer.
