Carlson Gracie Oklahoma operates as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school located in Oklahoma City, OK. Head Coach Sandro Sampaio leads the academy, having trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since the age of 5 with the Carlson Gracie Team in Copacabana. Coach Sampaio earned his black belt from Paulo Filho in 2005 and received his 5th degree black belt from Master Carlson Gracie Jr. The instructional team also includes brown belt Brett Stephens, purple belt Austin Head, and former Division I wrestler Tank McCarrell. Class offerings include BJJ With Gi for adults ages 14 and up, Striking for ages 10 and up, and BJJ NoGi training. Youth options include Mini Bulldog classes for ages 4-7 alongside Junior Bulldog classes for ages 8-13. Members can also attend open mat sessions on Friday at 5.00 PM and Saturday at 10.00 AM, with newcomers eligible for a free trial class.
