Santa Maria Taekwondo & Judo Academy is a martial arts school founded in 1995 by Grand Master Kennith Martin, operating at 3420 Orcutt Road in Orcutt, California. The dojo teaches Chungdokwan taekwondo certified by the Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Headquarters in South Korea, alongside Olympic-style judo and combat sports programs. The coaching staff includes Mr. Martin, Mr. Newby, Coach Jorge Soto-Enriquez, Coach Jose Maria-Sanchez, Coach Henry Newby, and Coach Alex Perez. Training develops fundamental physical fitness, situational self-defense, and competitive proficiency, supported by an active youth and adult tournament sparring team. Instruction covers traditional World Taekwondo curriculum as well as Kombat Taekwondo, traditional judo, and NoGi judo. Taekwondo students practice Kibon basic techniques, Kyorugi sparring, and Poomsae forms, while judo participants study Gokyu throws, Randori sparring, and formal Kata movements in a family-oriented environment.
