Savage Citizen Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Savage Citizen Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is situated at 1213 S. 75th Street in Omaha, Nebraska. As a veteran-owned academy certified by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, the school is affiliated with sixth-degree black belt Rodrigo Vaghi of Team Vaghi, who trained under Grand Master Helio Gracie and Rickson Gracie. The coaching roster features black belts Charles Russell and Kristi Russell, brown belts Oscar Barrera, Marcus Johnson, and Zach Rennels, and mobility coach Lindsey Russell. The academy provides structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coursework across gi and no-gi formats. The curriculum includes Core Concepts fundamentals, advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, skill refinement positional sparring, and focused takedown classes incorporating wrestling and judo entries. Students can also participate in early morning Breakfast Club sessions, BJJ high-intensity interval training, and mobility classes designed to promote joint health. Youth training is organized through the Savage Citizen Kids program for ages six through fifteen.
