Schell Shock BJJ operates a martial arts academy located at 6109 NC-55, Suite 133, in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The school is led by owner and head instructor John Schell alongside Professors Samantha Schell and Trevor Burns, with striking instruction provided by Charlie Brake and Demetrius Rudolph. The academy delivers instruction across Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, mixed martial arts, and practical self-defense for both youth and adult practitioners. Gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu training incorporates fundamentals, constraint-led no-gi classes, open mat rounds, and positional drilling sessions. The striking curriculum features scheduled Muay Thai sparring hours. Group classes run Monday through Saturday with early morning, midday, and evening time slots, while Sunday training sessions are scheduled by appointment. The facility also hosts women's self-defense clinics and welcomes prospective students to attend a free introductory trial class.
