Silicon Valley BJJ Club

Located at 1111 Elko Drive, Suite A, in Sunnyvale, California, Silicon Valley BJJ provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for youth and adult practitioners. The academy was established by founder and head instructor Professor Diego Herzog, a fifth-degree black belt with over 25 years of martial arts teaching experience who earned his black belt under Crolin Gracie. Adult instruction features dedicated gi fundamentals sessions focusing on positional movements, escapes, and core submissions. Practitioners also train in all-levels gi classes where students from white belt to black belt drill together, alongside no-gi grappling classes emphasizing wrestling transitions and modern submission defense. The academy structures youth training into developmental age brackets, beginning with toddler classes for children ages three to five focused on body coordination and basic movements. The kids BJJ program instructs students ages 6 to 14 through a structured five-rank belt progression path, complemented by scheduled weekend open mat sessions.
