Sindalu BJJ Albuquerque delivers ground grappling, striking, and practical self-defense education at 3614 High Street NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Operating as a non-profit academy, the school partners with local schools and civic groups to provide accessible martial arts training. The Albuquerque facility is led by Professor Emery 'Ox' Cruz, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, professional mixed martial arts veteran, and seven-year military veteran who serves as a certified law enforcement defensive tactics instructor. Training is supported by coach Jolynn Cruz, a third-degree purple belt and two-time amateur boxing titleholder. Curriculum includes adult gi jiu-jitsu utilizing Gracie Combatives fundamentals, no-gi submission wrestling integrating catch wrestling principles, Muay Thai striking, and youth jiu-jitsu classes combining wrestling with anti-bullying concepts. Prospective students can evaluate the academy by taking advantage of a complimentary ten-day trial.
