Somerset Martial Arts, Summer Camp, & Afterschool delivers martial arts education and youth enrichment programs at 180 Belmont Ave. in Somerset, Kentucky. The academy provides community members and local families with a structured, positive training environment combining ground fighting, striking disciplines, fitness conditioning, and youth development. Instruction at the academy is conducted by an instructional team that includes coaches Ian, Teresa, Justin, and Chris. Training emphasizes student safety, technical growth, and compassionate mentoring, teaching practical self-defense techniques while instilling key character lessons, personal discipline, and mutual respect among students across all skill levels. Course offerings encompass a wide array of age-tailored martial arts programs. Grappling divisions feature Tiny Titans Jiu Jitsu for ages 3 to 5, Little Warrior's Jiu Jitsu for ages 6 to 8, Jr. Spartans Jiu Jitsu for ages 9 to 12, and Teen and Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for ages 13 and older. The facility also provides Tiny Titan's Karate, Jr. Spartan's Karate, Teen and Adult Boxing, Ladies Only Fitness Kickboxing, after-school programs, and local summer camp activities.
