Southern Impact Mixed Martial Arts

Southern Impact Mixed Martial Arts operates at 1105 11th St in Mena, AR 71953. The training center provides combat sport education focusing on striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground. Instruction is provided by MMA Coach Larry Erickson, who graduated from Mena High School in 2003, attended Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, and began training with Southern Impact Martial Arts in 2010. The coaching staff also features MMA Coach Ryan Erickson, a former Ascend Combat 185lb Amateur MMA Champion, and MMA Coach Christian Leigh, who has trained since 2013. Grappling instruction includes coach Cody Woods, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu purple belt and USA Wrestling Bronze Level Coach. Class offerings include mixed martial arts and wrestling disciplines open to students in the Mena area. Prospective students can call or visit the 11th St facility to learn about training schedules.
