Southern Indiana Martial Arts

Southern Indiana Martial Arts operates at 2107 Corydon Pike in New Albany, IN 47150, located in Warehouse A. Known locally as SIMA, the school provides martial arts training for youth and adult students. Instruction is directed by Jason Dempster, who serves as chief instructor at SIMA and holds a Second Degree Black Belt from Fabio Santos Coral Belt, a Rickson Gracie Black Belt. The coaching roster also features associate instructor Austin Linton and associate instructor Houston Million, who both hold the rank of black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, alongside Phil Back who holds a 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. Class offerings include Brazilian Jiu‐Jitsu, Kid's Jiu Jitsu, and Taekwondo for Kids. Training sessions accommodate beginners through advanced martial artists, with instruction applicable to self defense and competition. Prospective practitioners can register for memberships and access student resources through the academy.
