Spring Hill Jiu Jitsu

Spring Hill Jiu Jitsu delivers martial arts education and practical self-defense training at 20250 S Woodland Rd in Spring Hill, Kansas. The academy provides structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction for novices, active hobbyists, and youth practitioners across Spring Hill and neighboring communities. Instruction is led by second-degree black belt Christian Hidalgo, who began training judo and Japanese jujitsu during childhood, alongside first-degree black belt Emily, a gi fundamentals and youth coach who initiated her jiu-jitsu training in 2006 and earned her rank among the first ten women to receive a black belt in Kansas. The teaching staff also features brown belt assistant instructor Bart Bosler. Course offerings encompass adult gi fundamentals and advanced grappling, the Ladies Jiu Jitsu program focusing on realistic self-defense principles, and the Next Gen Big Kids classes structured for youth students ages 7 to 15, fostering fitness, discipline, and technical confidence.
