STRIKING 101 MIXED MARTIAL ARTS - BREWSTER

Striking 101 Mixed Martial Arts operates a training academy at 2505 Carmel Avenue in Brewster, New York, serving Putnam County and neighboring communities since 2012. The academy was established by Founder Sensei, a martial artist with thirty-six years of experience holding black belts in Kyokushin Karate and Taekwondo and serving as a WMO USA Muay Thai head coach, supported by assistant instructor Joshu Diego 'Dutch' Jagessar, a competitive champion and Team USA athlete. The academy provides striking and grappling instruction across Dutch Kickboxing, Muay Thai, traditional boxing, and submission grappling. Training programs accommodate youth and adult practitioners, with curriculum emphasizing punching combinations, low-kick mechanics, clinch defense, and cardiovascular conditioning. Students train in heavy bag work, pad drilling, and controlled technique application suitable for fitness students and competitive fighters.
