Subconscious Jiu Jitsu operates at 5213 Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood, California. The academy provides martial arts instruction in a safe and controlled environment staffed by professional coaching personnel, offering 1500 sq ft of training area and large changing areas with personal storage. The school was founded by head instructor Professor Brent Burniston, who received a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from master Jean Jacques Machado in 2009. Burniston is joined on the mats by Professor Nicholas Gregoriades, who holds a 4th degree black belt. Programs include structured adult classes for ages 16 and older alongside kids classes for ages 4 to 15 years old. Training emphasizes ego-free learning and fun on the mats while developing technical skills. Prospective students can schedule a session online to book a free trial.
