Nibiru Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu operates at 202 Moravian Valley Rd, Suite F in Waunakee, WI 53597. The gym is an official affiliate of Checkmat Jiu-Jitsu and Viking Muay Thai, representing the only Checkmat gym in the state of Wisconsin. Instruction at the school features Robert Tahtinen, who serves as Head BJJ & Muay Thai Instructor holding a 1st degree black belt awarded from TAC team in October 2021, with his first degree from Professor Leo Vieira. The coaching team includes Head Kids BJJ Instructor Jason Mayerl, a brown belt, and Assistant Kids BJJ Instructor Bryce Ferguson, a blue belt. Training options feature adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, adult Muay Thai, and open mats. Youth classes provide kids Jiu-Jitsu for an age range of 5-14, featuring loaner uniforms available at no charge. New students can begin with a one week free trial across all classes, and military and first responders discounts are provided.
