T.O.S.S. Academy

T.O.S.S. Academy is located at 2003 SW Regional Airport Blvd in Bentonville, Arkansas. As an affiliate of the Caique Jiu-Jitsu Association founded by Carlos "Caique" Elias, the academy provides Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction. The teaching staff includes Professor Shawn Pretat alongside black belts Darin Baldridge and Elle Jackson, who all received their black belts directly from Master Caique. Pretat began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu path in 2006 and retired from military service in 2017 after serving 20 honorable years. Class offerings accommodate practitioners through children's martial arts, co-ed adult sessions, and women's-only classes. Students learn fundamental self-defense techniques, guard recovery, positional escapes, and submission control in a structured setting. Specialized programming includes an adults-only competition class requiring at least two stripes on a white belt to participate. The school also provides law enforcement training, technical seminars, and small group instruction, delivering focused training for both recreational practitioners and dedicated competitors.
