Located at 2124 W El Camino Real in Mountain View, California, Taekwon Kids operates within the TAM Center in a training facility spanning over 17,000 square feet across three separate workout rooms. The academy was established in 2010 by Master Chin Sonu to deliver educational martial arts training. The school organizes taekwondo programs across multiple age groups, beginning with introductory training for children ages four to six and continuing through youth and adult classes for ages seven and older. Instruction emphasizes practical self-defense, body balance, mental focus, and rank advancement without requiring long-term contracts. Specialized competition training includes a poomsae team that prepares athletes as young as six years old for individual, pair, and synchronized team demonstrations. Students also train on the kyorugi sparring team using electronic scoring systems for full-contact Olympic-style competition, alongside facility access to partner programs in judo and archery.
