Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy

Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy is situated at 4801 Geary Blvd in San Francisco, California. Established by Grandmaster Tat Mau Wong, a former full-contact champion in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, the academy provides traditional Choy Lay Fut kung fu and martial arts instruction. Instruction is delivered by seasoned sifus and certified black belt instructors who guide students through classical forms, balance work, and practical self-defense. Training develops flexibility, upper-body coordination, stances, and traditional Chinese weapons including the staff, broadsword, and straight sword. Class offerings feature age-graded youth programs, including Tiger Team classes for children ages 4 through 7 and Juniors Kung Fu classes for kids ages 7 to 12. The academy also conducts Adult Kung Fu classes for teens and older, alongside fitness kickboxing classes and traditional Lion Dance performance training.
