Team Casarez Jiu-Jitsu

Team Casarez Jiu-Jitsu provides grappling instruction and martial arts education at 253 Grande Heights Drive in Cary, North Carolina. Established in 2015 as an affiliate of nine-time world champion Lucas Lepri, the academy conducts classes for children, teenagers, and adult practitioners across Cary, Raleigh, Apex, Durham, and Chapel Hill. The school was founded and is directed by head professor Tony Casarez, a 2nd Degree Black Belt under Lucas Lepri who has competed in IBJJF tournaments for 15 years. Casarez won gold at the 2019 IBJJF Miami Open and earned bronze at the 2018 No-Gi World Championships. A former high school and college instructor, he applies structured teaching methodologies alongside coaches Fernando Cruz, Milo Ketterhagen, and Alex Griffin. Coursework features adult gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, adult no-gi grappling, and kids jiu-jitsu for ages 6 to 12. Classes focus on mechanical efficiency, guard passing, and live positional sparring, with complimentary trial classes available.
