Team FVGC: Fox Valley Grappling Club

Team FVGC: Fox Valley Grappling Club delivers combat sports education and martial arts instruction at 945 S Nicolet Rd in Appleton, Wisconsin. The academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and judo training for youth and adult students across Appleton and the surrounding area. The instructional roster is led by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Dan Williams, who trains under Luiz Claudio and Thiago Veiga of the LCCT Combat Team within the Rickson Gracie lineage and started his jiu-jitsu path in 2012. The coaching staff also features Curt Stratton, who brings over forty years of grappling experience in Judo and wrestling, retired mixed martial artist Nick Thompson, who competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship with thirty-eight professional MMA victories, wrestling coach Jason Kleinschmidt, a two-time Folkstyle Veterans National Champion, and judo coach Rameen Almozar, a judo black belt and four-stripe BJJ purple belt with twenty-eight years of grappling background. Course offerings encompass Adult BJJ, Kids BJJ, stand-up grappling, and technical mat sparring.
