Teams MMA

Teams MMA is a mixed martial arts training facility located at 1172 Third Avenue in the Oxford Shopping Center in Chula Vista, California. The gym delivers structured combat sports instruction, athlete conditioning, and self-defense training for beginners and competitive fighters. The academy was established by founder Ajay James and is coached by head coach Vincent Salvador. The teaching roster includes professional MMA fighters and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts, including instructor Elijah, a two-time American National Champion in Jiu-Jitsu, delivering technical instruction based on professional MMA standards. Training options accommodate students across multiple disciplines and experience levels. The weekly timetable features classes in Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, and Wrestling, alongside a dedicated beginner MMA program and human performance training.
