The Grappling Lab

The Grappling Lab is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school situated at 11562 Knott St Ste 17 in Garden Grove, California. The academy provides martial arts instruction incorporating exercise science and athletic conditioning principles into traditional grappling. All classes are run by head coach Edwin Peng, a 2nd degree BJJ black belt who graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Masters of Science in Exercise Science. Peng is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist under the National Strength and Conditioning Association, delivering a science-backed, curriculum-based approach to grappling development. The gym offers All Levels Instruction three evenings per week alongside private training covering jiujitsu, strength and conditioning, and movement skills. Training is billed monthly with no long-term contracts. Prospective students can call or text the academy to arrange a free trial class.
