The Jiu Jitsu Company

The Jiu Jitsu Company provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction at 31 S. 2nd St., 2nd Floor in the Old City historic neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Open seven days a week, the academy offers structured technical training for practitioners of all backgrounds across Philadelphia. The school was co-founded by Head Instructor Josh Vogel, a 3rd Degree Black Belt with more than twenty-three years of grappling instruction experience, alongside Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Angie Vogel, a 1st Degree Black Belt. Classes utilize a project-based curriculum designed for systematic skill progression. Training options encompass adult fundamental and advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, competition sparring, and small-group youth classes. Each session emphasizes leverage, defensive escapes, guard passing, and submission mechanics taught by Sport Safe certified coaches.
