The Jiu Jitsu Institute

The Jiu Jitsu Institute operates at 5208 Carolina Beach Rd Ste 102 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The martial arts academy provides Brazilian jiu-jitsu instruction and practical self-defense education to children and adults across the Wilmington area. Instruction is directed by head instructor and owner Professor Gil alongside assistant adult instructor Coach Jake. The youth coaching staff includes little kids instructor Coach Abby, big kids instructor Coach Amber, and assistant coaches Coach Jim, Coach Naomi, and Coach Chris. Coaches emphasize technical precision, disciplined drilling, positional control, and supervised sparring, allowing practitioners of all experience levels to progress safely at their own pace.
