The JiuJitsu Academy

The JiuJitsu Academy is located at 2254 East Morgan Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 47711, United States. The facility features two spacious training areas covered in high quality Zebra mats, alongside locker rooms and shower facilities, gladiator wall and equipment, and a Pro-Shop by the front entrance. Owner and head professor, Bruce Shepherd serves as Head Instructor at the academy. Professor Shepherd has trained BJJ for over 30 years and is recognized as a 5th degree black belt under the IBJJF. His lineage traces to Master Marcelo Ferreira and Grand Master Francisco Mansor. Class programs include Basic BJJ, Competition BJJ, Intermediate and Advanced sessions, and Judo with focus on stand-up and takedowns. Youth programs provide Pre-K classes for kids ages 3 to 5, alongside Jr. BJJ for kids ages 6-13. Training options include group and private classes, with day and week passes available for visitors.
