The Training Mat

The Training Mat is a martial arts and practical self-defense training center located at 14161 Elsworth Street, Unit A, in Moreno Valley, California. The academy provides functional combat sports training, striking, and empty-hand defense instruction for students and families across the local community. The school was established by co-founders who combine more than eighty-five years of collective teaching experience. Instruction is anchored by an eighth-degree black belt and a fifth-degree black belt in White Tiger Kenpo, delivering grounded, practical self-defense techniques alongside striking principles. Course offerings span White Tiger Kenpo, American Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts, and Dog Brothers Martial Arts stick and weapons training. Programs accommodate men, women, and children ages 6 and older, featuring evening adult kickboxing sessions scheduled Monday through Thursday.
