The War Room School of Jiu Jitsu

The War Room School of Jiu Jitsu is an IBJJF registered training center situated at 5617 Paradise Boulevard Northwest in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded in March 2020 by Professor Jose Garcia, the school originated on a modest home mat space before developing into a full-scale martial arts facility focused on physical and mental conditioning. Professor Jose Garcia was raised in Albuquerque and began his Brazilian jiu-jitsu training in 2010 under Professor Gustavo Alencar, earning his black belt in 2019 and first degree in 2022. The coaching roster also features competition team coaches Aubrey Donahue and Albert Apache, alongside certified yoga instructor Muriel Palanca. Daily training provides fundamental and advanced classes across gi and no-gi grappling, live sparring rounds, and focused yoga recovery sessions. Youth martial arts instruction divides students into the Littles program for ages 4 to 6 and the Big Kids program for ages 7 to 12.
